  These cats rubbing their faces on baby are marking them. BY sharing their scent, they're telling everyone "that's mine. That's my family, and it belongs to me". Sharing scent is one of the most obvious ways you know that kitty loves you.

  My mother told me when I was a baby (66 years ago) the cat would jump in the crib, cuddle with me and put arms around me and press his/her paws gently on my face. &nbsp;That&apos;s just what they do...I guess that&apos;s why I love cats.

  At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXwffuSCYl4&amp;t=100">1:40</a> NO, that cat WAS protecting little baby. He can&apos;t stop him at a full run down the hill and he saw the ditch coming so he bopped him in the back to knock him down. Baby wasn&apos;t hurt. Smart kitty.

  When my daughter was a toddler, my female cat that I had at the time. She thought that she could discipline my daughter. My daughter learned however never get a cat PO&apos;ed. She was the same cat who growled at a social worker for holding my daughter.
