I've seen Kevin perform his spoken word standup type deal on four occasions. The first time, I would say that he was still 90% authentic Kevin. By the last time I saw him, he was the character Kevin that he plays on his podcasts. In fairness to his own opinion of himself, he's always been present with the audience in front of him, and always responds in earnest to anyone who asks him a silly question he's probably answered a billion times. If he feels more comfortable being his authentic self today, then I'm so glad that he came out the other side of his trauma and therapy a better Kevin. But I hope he knows that he's always been lovable, no matter how many masks he feels he has worn over the years.

Edit: It was Missouri where the cop confiscated Kev's weed. He mentioned it days after it happened at the last stand up show I saw him at.

Hearing well known celebrities be so candid and open about the real side of themselves is so refreshing. I have so much respect for people who are just real.

One of the best pods y’all have had I think. Glad y’all had him back and could talk on so many important topics

Only 12 minutes into this and my mind is already blown and I need to pause and process this. Thank you for sharing this Kevin and Steve. Kevin, you put into words things I've been trying to for years.

Regarding the billion dollar movie, Kevin is talking about Bryan Singer with “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

As a therapist, therapy is for EVERYONE. It is a gift, not a punishment. If you're a parent who is bringing your child to therapy, you're succeeding, not failing. 💙
