Its so surprising that they dont understand Black Americans weren't allowed to speak to white people without being spoken to. And a Black man speaking to a white woman would get you lynched, Burned and castrated if a white person saw the interaction. Men , Women and Child would pose for pictures with the burt corpses and send they to family members as post cards. Interacial relationships were not legal in the South it was a crime, i thought it was obvious why his tone and mannerisms were that way. As a Black American from the south it shocks me how many people do not realize Slavery was only 3-4 generations ago my great great grandparents parents were slaves and im the first generation born with equal rights. Segregation didnt end until 1965-70. Parents were born in 1960... im only 35. Its like people do not realize the Victorian Era in England and the Cowboy /wild west era in America were at the exact same time. Its sad most none Black Americans dont know real American history. The history being taught in America is the most white washed, sanitized ,remixed of history ever. America was literally built on racism and White Supremacy. American slavery was unique because it was the only country were you were made a slave simply for being Black. You were born as property . 400 yrs of slavery in America, free labor for 400yrs. White Americas worst kept secret... they didn't build America and America became 1 of the richest countries in the world in a short amount of time after the revolutionary war due to free labor. Everything built and all the resources sold came from the labor and lives of Black Americans who have been separated from Africa longer than 70% of white Americans have been separated from Europe.

For anyone around the world watching this, and is still confused about why he said not to look at her. Just Google Emmett Till. You also need to understand interracial marriage was illegal in many parts of the United States until 1967.
