  Gustave as of 2026 has quite literally disappeared into legend. He was never captured, no definite proof exists that he died or is still living.

  People forget that humans are the ones expanding into his territory. He’s been living in that river for decades. You can't blame a wild reptile for acting like a wild reptile in his own home. Protect the villages with fences, or move him, but killing him shouldn't be the first option He is a wild animal, not a criminal with a moral conscience. The goal should be to capture him to save lives, not to take revenge on a reptile

  People underestimate the crocodile, which is a deceptive, intelligent and very dangerous animal for humans. It is one of the strongest animals.

  This croc really sat and watch them tinker with the trap over and over, learned how it works, went in and took the damn goat. &nbsp;They saw diddly squat on camera because a thunderstorm took it out. &nbsp;What a fail. &nbsp;Brilliant performance by the croc. &nbsp;Their patience is insane.
