Fun Fact: The scream from Sam Rockwell when they saw the aliens was ADLIBBED and you can see Weaver jump when he does it... such great acting all around in this movie, and a great reaction also 🥰

Weaver's line about ducts is a nod to her being in the Alien franchise

3 aspect ratios in one film. I love that subtle touch the director chose. One of the best sci-fi comedies made and a love letter to Star Trek fans.

Chen is stoned the whole time which explains why he's so chill about everything. This time someone looks like an aunt instead of an uncle. LOL

The character you recognize as Snape was actually a professional theater actor originally!

❣️LOVE this movie! Very funny & entertaining. But I still get teary eyed when Quellek is shot & tells Dr. Lazarus he's has been like father figure to him. Alexander Dane, as Dr. Lazarus (RIP Alan Rickman) recites the catch phrase he formerly hated, now with genuine emotion. He understands it DID mean something!

When I was a kid, I used to wonder what an alien race would think about our capabilities if they saw a remote transmission of Star Trek’s USS Enterprise in Earth orbit. This movie is a realization of that idea.

One of the best parodies. Spot-on satire with no hard feelings.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Galaxy Quest is one of my all-time favourite films. It is a great comedy, a great parody of Star Trek, and according to Trek fans like myself, it is one of the Best Star Trek films, while also poking fun at the franchise. Loads of Star Trek tropes and references.

One of many great details in this film, when Saris attacks the bridge, everyone is killed except for Guy.
