There is something meta about an AI documentary about soulless people defined in the story by their function.

The savage scene between Teeth and The Connection may have been a homage to a similar scene in Pickup on South Street 1953.

Me again. This time to say something GREAT about THE DRIVER most action movies today with car chases always lack and peeve me, including DRIVE: the way Walter Hill shows the DAMAGE done specific to different kinds of scrapes into/along the cityscape and when trading paint.
In DRIVER, when in a nighttime scene Gosling drives HEAD ON T-boning Ron Perlman’s vehicle, Driver’s car headlights are intact and shining bright. It’s not even directed in a way to even remotely suggest an inkling of surrealism in an otherwise sharp attention to detail movie. Made me say, “Aw, movie, how could you let this happen? Especially when so close to the landing? So close…”
(and to you smart guys out there about to crack wise? yeah, i talk to movies. it’s not as if i say anything unusual or weird or isn’t called for, dig?)

I love the red pickup truck with the white wheels. I live in the UK so american cars are not that easy to get, i so want to get one of those trucks.

@0:55 otherwise know as when Ryan Gosling turned to modern movie audiences never having seen, let alone even heard of, Hill’s film and told them, “Hold my beer.”
ONLY to ripoff O’Neil wholesale, adding a TOOTHPICK which he admits he took the idea from (or rather was “inspired by”) the way Clint Eastwood’s “man with no name” spaghetti Western character seems to be perpetually clenching teeth on the same CHEROOT cigar, thereby turning in a DOUBLE rip audiences and reviewers went apeshit applauding, unwittingly lauding his borrowed stoicism as if akin to Brando bringing (solely seeming so) Method acting to the big screen.
•
Now after that tirade of mine above here’s something that just might blow your funkin’ mind: I think Gos knocks it out of the park and down the block. He manages to deliver an extremely calibrated performance under the guise of minimalism. It’s borderline brilliant.
For me personally, what keeps it from passing that line? To preamble in automobile motif, it’d be like giving all the credit for winning a car race to the guy riding shotgun seat. Know what I mean?

100 years from now, scientists will uncover these GARBAGE AI SLOP VIDEOS and think we were a society of COMPLETE MORONS... and I'm not sure if they'll be wrong?

AI narration is bullshit. I like almost every video I watch, but I won't like an AI video. Slop puts skilled humans like voice actors, editors and digital artists out of work.
