If you have Spawn issue #15, the one with the knight spawn fighting the violater dragon, if you look in the letter pages, Todd published my letter! I was in 8th grade and a holy roller! I tried to convert Todd McFarlane.

It makes me so incredibly depressed that Todd McFarlanes spawn was cancelled. The atmosphere was simply brilliant. Keith davids nailed the performance entirely too well. I wish I lived in the timeline where Todd got to make even another 4 seasons of it. It was a masterpiece and everytime I watch it I crave more.

Six and a half hours is long but this still might be the easiest way to get into the Spawn comics. Easy recommend.

The art back then had so much energy and personality, I miss it. There are definitely some amazing artists today but I’ll always have a special fondness for those early Image splash pages

Reading Spawn as a kid back in the 90's I had no idea what was going on. I just liked the pretty pictures. Thanks for making me whole after all these years
