I just want to add that I’ve always perceived jacket winning the fight due to biker large gash in the second game but not killing him due to biker being… well, American and holds no real grudge against him but in the memory sequence, it shows him killing biker because that’s what he wishes he did, because sparing biker is what got girlfriend killed

this might genuinely be one of the most put-together video i've seen in a long while. i can see why this took nearly an entire year between the dedication and cinematography put into this entire thing, I can't stress enough how cool it is . please never stop making content

dude i never comment on youtube videos like ever. i use my girlfriend’s youtube account on our tv to watch everything. but last night my girlfriend and i watched this video, because hotline miami is our favorite video game and kinda got us together and we love everything about it. and i had to make an account to comment that this video is genuinely phenomenal and probably the first time i feel i’ve watched a genuinely original hotline miami video essay that actually adds to the conversation around the game instead of just observing it. fantastic job, well done, insane that you don’t have more subscribers.
