These guys who built languages, wrote compilers were genius. They had no gpt to write their boiler plates. Can't imagine the effort they must have put to write compilers. Fascinating

Tech lead here just spent 3 days cleaning up a vibe coded dashboard. 100% needs strict supervision and direction. I still had to recode some parts manually because no matter how many times i reran the review agent (the one I specifically built). It still misses stuff and by the 5th, 6th iteration I was quicker if i did the rest myself

Anders didn’t just create C# and TypeScript. Long before either of these he created Turbo Pascal and Delphi, both of which changed the programming industry.

I learned programming in Turbo Pascal when I was a kid, and nowadays I make a living programming C#! I had no clue this guy was behind both. My new favorite person!

I remember building my first Windows-App with Delphi in the 90s in school. That truely changed my view on computers and what I can potentially do back then.
