The Worst Signing of Every Giant Club

Six giant clubs. Six signings that went in and never came back out. Barcelona put up to €160m into Philippe Coutinho and got €20m back. PSG paid the €222m release clause for Neymar and sold him for €90m six years later. Manchester United paid a world record £89m for Paul Pogba and then watched him leave on a free. Real Madrid signed Eden Hazard for €100m and got four league goals in four seasons. Chelsea broke their own record on Romelu Lukaku at £97.5m and sold him a year later for £25.2m. Juventus paid €72m for Arthur Melo and then could not give him away. This is not a list of bad players. It is a list of transfers where the money went in and nothing came back. And which giant club did I leave out that deserved a place here? Liverpool, Bayern, Inter and Milan are all still on the table. If enough of you ask for it, this becomes part two.
