  You said it rained one day...<br>The fan probably sucked up water/moisture and mosquitoes stuck together blocking the fan suction.<br>As another commenter said, The first 48 hours was too impressive for it to not work or to stop working. They&apos;re definitely is a blockage.

  There has got to be something wrong with the fan or perhaps a blockage somewhere. The 48 hour time was far too impressive for it to just completely give up

  So what happened was when you took the half dead mosquitoes out after 48 hours, one made a full recovery, flew out and told the whole tribe about the green human. He is now the legend, and every time he tells the story, he crawled over 15 more corpses than before.

  Check The Side Vents for Bugs.<br><br>Removing and checking the inside of the side vents to ensure that there are no bugs stuck to the inside of the vent will maximize air flow through the trap. Heavily clogged vents will reduce your vacuum and your catch.

  I had one similar, But it also had a white/black diamond pattern sticky tape that wrapped around part of it,.So even the mosquitos that weremt sucked in, Landed on it and were stuck. With that being said, The propane powered the fan, It had a gauge on it, After igniting it(Pushing the ignitor button ) it would take a few minutes and you would see the gauge rise to show you it was working, At that point you would slightly hear the fan running. Problem was, It didn&apos;t always ignite the first time, You would have to close the propane, Wait a few minutes and try again...All while getting eaten alive because the mosquitos were so attracted to it and me.<br><br>I would put it on the porch, Ignite it and after confirming it was ignited, Then bring it to the area I wanted to put it in that week. I would change locations weekly. It always worked great, But you have to make sure the propane ignited and confirm fan is running or you get the results you have here.

  I would contact the company and ask them to check out the unit to see if it&apos;s in proper working order. &nbsp;For it to work so well then just stop working doesn&apos;t sound right. Give them a chance to correct any problem. If they find nothing it&apos;s not worth buying.
