  Jo and Zoe thank you so much for coming together to do this Podcast. It's like listening to good friends putting the world to right and having a giggle along the way. It was really interesting hearing Erica's voice note. My husband and I haven't got children and friends we have are busy parents or live far away or abroad. It is hard trying to make new friends and your suggestions were great. I downloaded an App called Meetup where you can search for events or groups in an area you're interested in. That may be a way to meet people doing something you enjoy.

  Some of my best friends I have I've met at craft clubs. Knit and natter/ crochet club. We Al help each other with new techniques etc. I strongly recommend craft clubs .  Loving the podcast ladies xxx

  I got really into gardening during the pandemic. I’ve completely transformed what was just a lawn to include different levels, garden buildings, shelters, many seating options and loads of plants!! I only grow flowers, shrubs and trees tho; no food produce. I do grow a lot of dahlias. We also got a hot tub in lockdown which we use every day and we’ve just retired (early at 55) so we’re currently building a huge pond and stream 🥰 Our garden isn’t huge but it feels like a park 🤣😅

  My husband suggested cycling - he joined a cycling club and met loads of new people. Different abilities, backgrounds, no pressure etc

  It’s really hard when you don’t have kids or are single cos you can make friends up to a point at sports/book/art/music clubs etc but then they go home to their family/go on holiday with their family etc and you end up still stuck. Hmm.

  I find it pretty hard to make friends, a lot of women really CAN be cliquey! Even now as a mature student, on a course with other mature women it’s still the same strange cliques!! It’s quite sad, as us women should be lifting each other ❤
