My wife and I go to Korea at least twice per year and for at least a few days of the trip we stay in Myeongdong. <br><br>The street food is ok, but a bit pricey. The street food is for tourists, not locals. One restaurant I would recommend in Myeongdong is Myeongdong Kyoja Branch and have Galguksu - very well made at reasonable prices.<br><br>You can also get Galguksu at the food stalls in Gwangjang Market.<br><br>Just east of Myeongdong, walking along Eulji-ro and to the south in the narrow alleys are restaurants and bars frequented by locals. Better food at better prices.
