Don't you think Whatley would've been a better pick for this discussion with Riot, since he has better debating skills, such as yelling «WRONG» repeatedly when he disagrees with somebody's opinion? Doesn't NoArmWhatley win this?

IMO it feels like Azzapp didnt really take this interview seriously. Him keeping his questions to high elo and not bringing up top lane would make sense if this was a more spur of the moment type of interview as he is a high elo Velkoz main, so bringing up topics about top and about low elo are outside of his area of expertise. However he had time to look into these topics and he should have been doing so especially since he was taking questions from his community. This very much felt more like a casual chat with him asking questions he personally had and cared about rather than an interview for the community.

I think the unfortunate thing here (and this is something other people have said) is that Azzapp is not a professional interviewer, so he doesnt quite know when to push back and debate, I think in general he likes giving people a chance to speak and explain things but since theres a time limit attached to the interview doesnt wanna waste time trying to interject his own thoughts and move to the next talking point before its over. Just my own personal thought that no one asked for. Not to say he shouldnt have been expected to push back, just that its not his area of expertise.

I rate Whatley's insights at a 8/10 You did a really good job of being critical, whereas it seemed like the interview itself was sometimes less probative and more chit chatty. I enjoyed listening to Azzapp and the Rioters, but WOW was I getting frustrated when they refused to poke beneath some of the surface level questions. Also, there were almost NO followup questions, which is crazy to me. Oh, and I did specifically enjoy hearing you point out the fact "League of Legends" wasn't really spoken about in the first half of the video at all. As for my criticism of you, dear Norman, you generally had straightforward and logical takes on the topics brought up, but I really didn't hear much of your own proposed solutions. Granted, that's not necessarily your job, but if you're (respectfully) going to have a higher-than-thou attitude, then I really would've appreciated your own input. Like, what the heck would you do to fix top right now? All in all, I know this one conversation wasn't going to fix all of League's problems in a single sitting. That being said, it could've gone further. Hopefully we can encourage these interviews to happen more often. Perhaps the next one can even feature a certain coma patient ❤️
