  It’s not even how to act in Japan anymore, it’s how some people can’t conduct themselves in public. That girl who did pull ups is lucky she didn’t cause damage.

  In a world of bad influencer apologies, that pullup girl has got to be up there with one of the worst. She was way more concerned with people not calling her out than making amends for the disrespect she showed.

  Ok, I feel like this needs to be said for EVERYONE to hear. When you travel to another country: you are both a guest, AND an unofficial diplomatic representative of your country. The way you behave can, will, and does reflect on other people going to those places. This leads to both discriminatory behavior towards visitors and can even negatively affect your country’s relations with who you’ve offended. You are allowed to have fun, in fact if you went anywhere and didn’t have fun then I feel bad for you. But please don’t act like it’s spring break 1997. &nbsp;And for THE LOVE OF GOD if you are unfortunate enough to stumble upon someone who has unfortunately passed away in a strange place, turn off all photographic and video equipment, call the local authorities, cooperate, and then just leave the area once they have the situation under control!

  As a 6&apos;9&quot; white American dude who has been to Japan twice now, I know I stick out like a sore thumb lol. But, being a giant helps make me more memorable. I was too tall for a ride at Disney(right? me? go figure) and the women there were so apologetic and I just kept telling them in my broken Japanese &quot;its ok, i&apos;m just an American Godzilla.&quot; They did get a good laugh from that.
