  Thanks for letting this young man share his experience in growing up and getting a Jewish education. He really had to be persistent in order to achieve the goal which others have taken for granted. Hashem bless him and keep his family safe from harm.

  Yaakov was my classmate when I was in 4th grade (2005) and he sat and soaked everything in with excitement and joy - despite being 6 years our senior!

  WOW. WOW! There really are no words to describe the superhuman sacrifice that Yakov and his holy mother both made L&apos;shem Shomayim. I first met Yakov in Camp Mogen Av, and we became good friends right then and there (although we haven&apos;t stayed in touch for some time now). I remember a perpetually smiling, easy going, sincere boy thirsty for more and more connection with G-d. After hearing more of his incredible journey, it&apos;s impossible to view him as anything other than a pure Tzadik. Wishing him and his family much hatzlacha!
