  man seeing the #1 spot being the lava daredevil run made me feel so relieved. there are many, frustrating purple coin levels, but i dont think i ever got so frustated at a level more than this one. made me rage so hard until i finally beat it lol

Then when I picked it up again, I discovered that I needed 100 coins and there were 150 on the board. I did it first try. &nbsp;Moron.

  I wouldn&apos;t necessarily call Deep Dark Purple Coins &quot;hard&quot;, just time consuming. I mean, yeah you need to manage your air meter... but spinning to get around makes that basically a non-issue (well, unless youre playing as Luigi cause of his spin boost in water drains air)

  This video reminded me that I played a hack of Mario Galaxy called “Kaizo Mario Galaxy” and it was CRAZY hard. I think it would be funny to do a Top 20 hardest stars for the Kaizo version!

  Oh my god, that Rolling Gizmo star...I had NOWHERE near as much frustration with the other levels on this list as I did with THAT. Lava Spire Daredevil comes at a close second. It makes you repeat the ENTIRE thing from the start. No checkpoints. I STILL somehow managed to keep my cool.

  As a kid, I had no idea what level of difficulty I was getting into from my favorite game ever, but whenever I keep getting killed or something like that, whether back then or today, I would just get so frustrated. Although, today, it&apos;s not that hard anymore since I&apos;m so good at it.<br><br>Also, in the Freezeflame&apos;s Purple Coin mission, Captain Toad only tells you to take the long jump in order to reach two Purple Coins from below, not punish you if you&apos;re even a coin short.<br><br>Also also, doing a headstart before the Cosmic Clone races?! I had no idea you could do that! Thanks for helping me discover something new!

  I loved these games since my Wii days, and was thrilled when they came to Switch. The toughest stars for me are the dreaded Luigi Cosmic Clone races.

It&apos;s hard when you&apos;re playing as mario because you&apos;re figuring out the best route while as Luigi it&apos;s a little easier because you&apos;re basically retracing your steps a bit with some alterations.
