To anyone who is using this music to study: <br> <br>1. Remember to take breaks. Sitting for long periods of time can restrict blood flow, and we know our silly brains need blood to function properly, so get up every hour and stretch!! Walk around a bit and stretch out before you continue in your studies. <br> <br>2. HYDRATE! It is so easy to forget to drink water throughout the day, especially when you're engrossed in your textbooks. Keep a sizeable water bottle next to you and when it runs low, refill it right away so you do not procrastinate and forget about it. <br> <br>3. Break it down. When there is a lot of material to get through, sometimes making a to-do list of all the individual assignments helps, or (my saving grace in college for organic chemistry) FLASH CARDS!!! They are underrated but can seriously help when it comes to memorizing and learning a lot of material in once sitting. <br> <br>4. Reward your accomplishments. Positive reinforcement goes a long way in small doses. After each hour of studying, treat yourself during one of your breaks. This could be in the form of a snack, a few minutes of reading your favorite book ( although I would recommend giving your eyes a break), dancing to upbeat music (another good way to get blood flowing), or spending time petting a loved pet. Whatever makes you happy! <br> <br> <br>Remember, most importantly of all, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! Studying and schoolwork can really get to you overtime, but remember, you will get there and it will work out. Just stay confident and determined that YOU GOT THIS. Believe me, if I made it through studying in my undergrad with my adhd mess of a brain, you can absolutely conquer this. <br> <br>- Much love from a random stranger who loves kirby and the wellness of others <3<3<3
