  A highly underrated city. The natural beauty of the surrounding country is also spectacular. Winters are rough but they know how to make the best of them there.

  Ottawa is the most beautiful capital and historical capital city of Canada and a lot of beautiful historical buildings.

  Ottawa also has the Canadian War Museum, which has an entire floor full of military vehicles from ww1, the inter war years, ww2, the cold war, and present. It&apos;s my personal favourite museum in all of Canada. There is also the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum, which has some flight simulators and plenty of planes.

  As an Ottawa resident and long time fan of the channel, I have been waiting for this one! A really underrated city even by Canadian standards in my opinion. The city is also in the middle of a construction “boom” and has densified a a lot in the past few years. The same has been happening on the other side of the river in Gatineau QC! The metro is looking more and more like our version of the twin cities ;)

  Great video! Of note, the current house of Commons (on the West Block) is actually temporary as the real House of Commons, along with the Senate (both located on the Centre Block) are being renovated. &nbsp;Both the original House of Commons and Senate are stunning.

  It&apos;s a beautiful city. When I was planning a visit so many people here in the states asked me why I was going there or thought I was going for a conference because they couldn&apos;t understand wanting to visit the capital of our neighboring country. It was irritating. Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa are must see cities in my opinion, more than Toronto.

  Fun fact about the glass tower on the nature museum, it was actually built to replace an original stone tower that had to be torn down because it was designed wrong and threatened the rest of the building. They could have rebuilt it in the original style with modern technology but intentionally went with glass as a sort of outline of what used to be there
