  The biggest problem with YT channels that try to act all family friendly is that their audience grows out of it and they move on to something else. If creators want to keep themselves relevant they have to change up their content and that way they will grow alongside with the audience and they will continue watching. Sadly Jelly is an example of someone who is doing the same content for a long time, doesn't even bother to change up his style, and of course never tries to grow with his audience.

  The issue with these gaming channels are that these channels mostly attract younger audience, who obviously with time grows up and matures from these kind of contents.

  The fact that he was able to gain such a large viewer count on games like gta V and minecraft after their peaks is still impressive in my opinion.

  Just like his friends, their audience grows up and moves on. He sticks to being family friendly while other YTers &nbsp;have a more mature content

  I think the family friendly demonetizations were the real start of their decline. Although they kept growing, it did start kicking out part of their audience that enjoyed the freak outs and the uncensored content.

  It makes me glad the true titanic trios of Youtube like Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye and Markiplier are doing well,<br>sure they don&apos;t collab often but they are on their healthy tracks maintaining good friendship behind the scenes.

  As someone who has been a fan of this trio, it hurts to see this, at the same time people have to realize their audience is getting older and have to try new things, I hate the fact it went this way<br><br>Edit: They&apos;re back together :D

  Markiplier despite the fact that he did fell off since he gets max average of 5 million per video out of 34 million subs, still is a significantly successful figure, probably because of the fact that he changes up his content every once in a while (Channel Based Lore videos, Gameplay with the two best boys Bob and Wade, Trending topics but not too saturated), the man actually knows how to keep the community he built up and entertained for years. So why can&apos;t these guys follow in the same footsteps? Probably complacency to the algorithm or maybe they&apos;re too comfortable.

  Probably the most potent example of simply &quot;growing up&quot;. I really appreciated this upload more than most &quot;downfall&quot; videos because it clearly was more of a growing older (and having to take on other responsibilities besides goofing off on a video stream) and finding new avenues to work and play within. You only have one life...live it!
