Stitching a vase with wood!

  Lot's of comments saying this is yew. This log wasn't labeled, but now I compered it with a giant piece of wood I will turn soon, which I know is yew, and the bark and color is identical. This was indeed a piece of yew. Thank you all for correcting me!

  Reminds me of the vase of 1000 stitches back in the days.<br>Would love to see stitching using a criss cross pattern some day, like shoelaces.

  Was supposed to do something useful. But I saw this and decided that relaxing is good for you. And taking care of oneself is also useful! 😁<br><br><br>I&apos;m not just making up excuses to watch the wood magician. I think... 😂

  So nice to see you back on the wood lathe. Not only did I enjoy the turning, but I also liked the jigs you used for making the stitching tenons and the hollowing rig with the sliding mechanism. Thanks for this video.

  It&apos;s always neat to see the new jigs &amp; fixtures you create on each project, I&apos;m constantly impressed by the creativeness of them &amp; how effective they are ❤<br><br>...then again we don&apos;t get to see the ones that didn&apos;t work properly I guess? 😂

  I usually do not like bow tie joints but this design looks really cool and maintains that signature olivier aesthetic. great work!
