  Remember 2 things -1.  Dr. Strange cannot see anything past his own death (as  explained by the Ancient One).  & 2. When viewing all possible outcomes, there will.be only 1 best solution... anything less than that would be considered a "greater loss'.  Thus, no matter how many futures he saw, there is only, ever, 1 outcome with the " best" win.

  RDJ auditioned to play Dr. Doom in the 1st FF movie.  Even after Many Dynasty, Doomsday would lead into Secret Wars.  Doom killing the Council of Kangs was ALWAYS the plan... They just skipped over the "Kang" chapter.

  I disagree with your take on the finger to Tony on the battlefield. I believe Tony realizes he would have to make the ultimate sacrifice by stealing the rings from Thanos and snapping his fingers which would kill him. He looked to Stange to confirm. Strange’s confirmation to Tony was the finger saying without saying it was the only way to win.

  The Secret Wars Mirror: Tony Stark Is a Victor Variant<br><br>My theory is that Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars will be a mirror between Iron Man and Doctor Doom, because they&apos;re the same man. The Tony Stark we followed for eleven years is really a Victor variant. He Who Remains overwrote Victor&apos;s life on the sacred timeline and replaced it with Tony Stark&apos;s.<br><br>That&apos;s why we&apos;ve never seen another live-action Iron Man anywhere in the multiverse. Even the Illuminati had a Reed Richards, a Captain Carter and a Professor X, but no Tony. Meanwhile, Doom has been confirmed across the multiverse. Deadpool &amp; Wolverine brought back Chris Evans&apos;s Johnny Storm from the old Fantastic Four films, a universe that had its own Doom. Doom exists out there. Tony, as a variant, doesn&apos;t.<br><br>When Loki broke the Loom, He Who Remains&apos; control over the sacred timeline ended, and it released the Doom he&apos;d been suppressing. The real Victor is born again. Our Tony and this Doom faced the same choice and made opposite decisions. Tony sacrificed himself to save his family and lock in the one future Strange told him could win. Doom failed to save his family, survived, and now sees his family and Latveria as the price he paid. He&apos;s fighting for the life that was stolen from him. He wants to live as Victor, controlled by neither He Who Remains nor Loki.<br><br>In Secret Wars, Doom rebuilds reality as Battleworld, built out of fragments of dead universes and shaped by his own mind. But Doom is a Victor whose life was overwritten into a Stark, so when he rebuilds the world from his own memories, he can&apos;t help rebuilding Tony too. Somewhere on Battleworld there&apos;s a Tony Stark who doesn&apos;t know who he is, maybe even loyal to the God Emperor who unknowingly created him. Doom&apos;s own world contains the one person who can stop him.<br><br>This is where Loki comes in. From the end of time, holding every branch together, Loki is outside the rules that Endgame taught us. The TVA has already reached into the Endgame timeline, when it arrested Loki during the 2012 Tesseract heist. Loki doesn&apos;t deliver Tony or send him back in time. He reconnects the Battleworld Tony to our Tony&apos;s thread, and our Tony&apos;s memories come back: the Avengers, Pepper, Morgan, the snap, and the truth that he was a Victor all along.<br><br>Then Tony faces the same choice again, only this time with full knowledge. The power holding Battleworld together is his gauntlet in everything but name, and taking it down may cost him his life. Doom offers him the other path: &quot;Let me keep the power, and I&apos;ll give you the family you never got to keep.&quot; That&apos;s the life Tony always wanted, offered by his own face.<br><br>This is why the only person who can stop Doom is himself. Endgame&apos;s snap was Tony choosing in a few seconds, on a nod from Strange. Secret Wars would be Tony choosing again, knowing he&apos;s a Victor, knowing what Kang did to the multiverse and knowing exactly what he&apos;s giving up, and still choosing to be Iron Man.<br><br>That makes Strange and Tony&apos;s moment before the snap mean far more in hindsight. The &quot;one future&quot; was never just about beating Thanos. It was the one timeline where a Victor chose to be Iron Man. Endgame stays untouched, and Secret Wars proves that &quot;I am Iron Man&quot; was never destiny. It was his choice.
