  Hey Luna, I really enjoy your content and I can see why you love Mallorca, it truly is a beautiful and unique place. However, as someone from the region, it’s difficult to watch some of the narratives around the island without also acknowledging the reality that many locals are facing.<br><br>Mallorca is currently struggling with MASS tourism. Many residents are finding it impossible to afford housing because so many properties have been converted into tourist rentals. The pressure on infrastructure and natural resources is growing because such a huge number of people are concentrated on a small island.<br><br>You are right that Mallorca is stunning, but for many of us who live here, it is becoming harder to feel at home in a place that sometimes feels more like a theme park than a living community. Behind the beautiful beaches and landscapes, there are real people trying to maintain their way of life.<br><br>I would really encourage you, and other creators who visit, to go beyond the postcard version of Mallorca: learn a few local words, make an effort to pronounce place names correctly, and take time to understand the experiences of the people who actually live here year-round.
