He is Eru Ilúvatar unintentionally personified in middle earth. Meaning Eru's love for creation was so strong it unintentionally personified into a living breathing being, not exactly Him but a physical copy of sorts. I've really studied Tolkien for a long time and I honestly feel like he's the only being that could be so powerful without seeming to realize it or not really care about power because he's the All Father. He's there to experience his creation along with his children. But like most god-like figures, he can't really interfere with earthly affairs. He's just there. The oldest being there ever was. And Goldberry is Arda herself personified. Eru's perfect companion. Love it!! 💛☀️
