  You have no idea shaykh how many people love to listen to you. I love to listen and learn from you just because of this maturity and academic approach to the ilm. Yes I went thru that "I know everything phase " years ago but I learned that being patient with learning and being humble is key to gaining knowledge.   When I was a child in church they taught me Isaac was the sacrifice son and I don't recall learning about Ishmael at all. In those times I lived under the impression that Abraham only had Isaac as an offspring. How fascinated I was to learn the stories of Hajar and Ishmael. My love of these people and their significance is not troubled by this debate. The focus is on Abraham and his submissiveness. God was their witness and God knows best. Peace and Love to anyone reading this
