  So you have a code reader in your garage, but didn't think to bring it with when you went all the way to Iowa to pay $17k for a 216k miles BMW...wow, you're an absolute genius bruh. Could've easily negotiated that price smh.

  I will never forget the devious smirk on the kids face who sold you this m4 when you handed over the cash. He knew exactly what he was doing and couldn't believe you were the sucker to bite. As soon as you pulled off, he disappeared from the material plane, the text bubbles immediately going from blue to green as you frantically texted him later discovering the problem came back. As you called, a robotic voice flatly informed you that the number was no longer in service. He didnt just block you, he burned his SIM card and threw his phone in a nearby river. His pocket full of 17,000 legally backed dollars, smirk on his face, he really got the last laugh, as the BMW m4 is lighting up like a Christmas tree with critical errors. The 17 grand didn't just buy him a better car, it bought him total peace of mind knowing that his busted BMW is no longer his problem and now is someone else's curse.

  Dude couldn't afford the car.  DEFINITELY couldn't afford to maintain it and it shows.  I think you are going to make out like a bandit here soon.  Just stop beating on it when you have codes until they get fixed LOL.  Smart job removing the tune and doing the basic maintenance

  Unfortunately new plugs will hide the problem for little bit but your problem is most likely low compression on 3. You should of done that when the plugs were out.

  On any high mileage vehicle when an owner doesn't even change spark plugs I can only imagine how poorly the rest of the car has been neglected and probably abused...

  Bro Change the whole cooling system: Radiator and flush it, change all bad hoses ... this car is 200k+ miles, it deserves a everything new

  It’s probably leaking internally. Look inside the J pipe and see if there is coolant residue.
