  I just bought a 5th gen prelude for my son and I to work on and I was just talking to him about the days in the early and mid 2000s where we used to meet up and chill at wal mart parking lots, 7/11, chevron, Sam’s club, Krispy Kreme, and he was saying to me that he wished it could be like that again, all we have are takeovers in the area we live in, but now in my mid 30s seeing this make a comeback and for us to be able to experience this together with him really makes me so damn happy.

  Love that comment on the AE86 - that the car is built and complete in every way that he wanted it. Lots of cars keep evolving or have niggles the owner hasn't quite got to yet - but you don't often find someone that can look at the car and tell you straight the car is everything they ever wanted to do and it's done.

  saw the commercial the other day... and i watched it multiple times because i wish America was like this. where things weren&apos;t so expensive. and had a awesome car community again.

  My friends and I started our jdm &quot;careers&quot; at the 7-11 on S Orange Ave in Orlando, FL back around 2002. Those are some of the best memories I have and from what I understand people still meet up there to this day.
