  Unfortunately, the information in "How do Shields Work?" is incorrect. I've done more testing and watched an amazing video by Vash Cowaii that breaks down how Damage Resistance works with actual concrete numbers. I'll be posting a corrected "How do shields work" sole video that talks about it! So sorry for the misinformation here guys!!

  Good info. I suggest completing the Planetologist quests,. it nets you one of the coolest looking strongest Stillsuits I've seen, the Batigh Stillsuit. It gives you bonus Hydration Capture 2.0%, Catchpocket Size: 500(same as most) more heat protection than others at Heat Protection: 1.2 and more armor than most stillsuits at Armor Value: 184. Plus it just looks REALLY good with a purple/midnight blue color scheme and look.

  I find its best to wear stillsuits when you know you are going to be travelling exploring and then put on heavy armour when i know im going to have to raid a specific monument

  Just a thing, crafting a piece of armor doesn't mean you can transmog other sets with it, you have to unlock via rewards from contracts at the outposts.

  I've been rocking a stillsuit for my 85 hours of playtime as a sniper. Haven't left the enemies alive long enough to need all the heavy armor mitigations. :P
