  Snape wasn&apos;t there to be Harry&apos;s friend. &nbsp;He was there to teach Harry how to not die. &nbsp;Like a drill sergeant. &nbsp;Harry was arrogant, and that arrogance could have killed him. &nbsp;Snape taught Harry in the same way Snape&apos;s father taught him.
