I recall being an early/young teen and having his songs downloaded on my phone. Walking from school to bus stop, sitting in bus, walking home from bus stop.. I loved his songs so much. The ones from when he still made those older songs, but his at the time new, sadder, ones resonated with me.

He definitely was a definite part of my identity back then. Thinking of myself that young is hard but hearing the songs brings it all back. What I was like, who I was in-depth. If only I could return to 2018 and experience life before things become what they are now. Even if my life was not easy at all back then. To be that me again and know that the world wasn’t messed up yet the way it is now.

“Tired of feelin like i’m trapped in my damn mind.”
me too.
Really odd, this thing called life. You grow older but sometimes just don’t grow up. X said a lot of eye opening things about perspective and energy.

Growing older i never stopped listening to X. 24 now, and sometimes i listen and cant help but go back in the past when times weren’t the greatest, when me and my brothers shared bedrooms and split screen halo all night on summer breaks and school nights. They needed their Spartan, today i still am.

Music has a way of healing people. Thank you X.

Long Live Jahseh. He was far from perfect. But he was trying to be a better man and a better person overall before he passed.

Man I used to ride around listening to X on my bike all the time. Crashed it right after he died. Riding and listening to X is a must.
