  Happy holidays from Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I’ve owned a pair or Se VR1s for over 15 years! They’re absolutely fantastic mics. TOP TIP! Se told me that If you’ve got a decent pre with plenty gain, the passive VR1s are indistinguishable from VR2s 😃 Have a great New Year mate! Love the channel ☯️❤️

  Plugins <b>are</b> amazing - I work in tech, and the software world is on fire with innovation. &nbsp;But there is a super fine line between &quot;I own this&quot; and &quot;I&apos;m just paying to rent this until they turn it into a subscription,&quot; and I&apos;ve had just about enough of it. &nbsp;Sure, hardware is WAY more expensive, but I don&apos;t have a company trying to milk me for a monthly subscription, nor do I have to pay for additional licenses on machines, NOR do I have to worry about OS compatibility!

  Loved this video. Descriptive, honest, concise. Thank you. I have been using the Sony C80, not mentioned here, but I think for the price it is incredible. Once again, each microphone has a job, but it matches my voice and guitars perfectly for my taste.

  That sE VR2 is phenomenal dude... One of the most &quot;already deliciously processed&quot; mics I&apos;ve ever used. Fantastic on vocals too if you want them &quot;in the room&quot; sounding and with lots of low-mids, smooth highs - great for lo-fi indie and jazz.

  This has quickly become one of my favorite channels this year. A Tier, dude. ALMOST grabbed the TG-2 last night and went for the Germ MK II instead. Happy Holidays.

  Thank you for a great year of knowledge and advice. I love your commentary, and I love your extensive footnotes for information on the gear you discuss. And, yes- I love your segmentation of your reviews. Being able to bounce to the next one is really thoughtful of you. As someone who is trying to wisely buy stuff to build a modest home recording setup I find your videos to be very helpful in separating out the good from the bad- or the MEH!<br><br>I&apos;m looking forward to a very happy new year of more of the same. 🎸

  SE mics are phenomenal ❣ The VR1 and VR2 are are great. The V7 gives any stage vocal mic a run for its money. The RNR1 and RNT1 are beyond reproach, and can compete with any high-price tube or ribbon mic.

  Your rite about the SE VR2, I watched the reviews on YT. &nbsp;It is an awesome mic. Ive used it as a central &nbsp;room mic on drums , about a meter away, abought 700mm up from the floor, so much balls , obviously blend it in with your stereo room mics. And acoustic guitar, &nbsp;its awesome. Get yourself in the right spot using your headphones. It is also awesome with male &nbsp;vocals, &nbsp; so complimentary . &nbsp;It is a figure of 8 polar pattern so i have only used it when the room is a bit dead. It makes the recordings sound bigger.
