18:40 The funny thing about some of these cinematics, is they play before or after a big set piece fight in an endgame raid dungeon. So lacking the context of the fight can make it a little bit disjointed. Cause you see Archimonde walk out of the portal looking all badass and intimidating, and then the next thing he drops to the floor.

29:20 Regardless of all Sylvanas did, this retreat was her Warchief's direct order. And it was the only good option for the Horde on that hill.
47:50 The only Sargeras problem was - he didn't know the location of Azeroth in space (he really REALLY wants Azeroth). He could open portals for his demons, but no portal could handle the whole Sargeras himself. So he needed the big one (already failed in that), the Vessel he could posses (failed) OR a bruteforce way - simply find the planet by... finding it. Imagine checking all the planets in the creation one by one.
And here enters Illidan - he has just opened huge portal from demon's main world directly to their ultimate Goal - Azeroth.

26:15 The horde was flanked. They had to pull back or they would've been surrounded. Varian and the alliance don't know that at the time, and they leave feeling like they got abandoned, but later when Varian sees the demons take the heights that Sylvanas was on, I think he realizes what happened.

The grey haired human/wolf is Genn Greymane, he has a long history of beef with sylvanas and the horde/forsaken
Khadgar is clean shaven wizard guy, hes pretty neutral despite being human

Guldan evaporated Varian and later got evaporated by Illidan, the big purple blind demon guy with the abs (not "legion", illidan's main goal is destroying the legion by using it's own power against it), he had Guldan's skull back in the old days and now he gets it again but hes so powerful he doesnt need it now. Illidan is the same guy from the burning crusade expansion cinematic, He's very "ends justify the means" so he did a bunch of bad stuff and we "killed" him in TBC, but his soul is mostly demon so hes basically immortal and he's on our side in Legion.

Illidan basically opened a portal between the Legion homeworld and Azeroth so we could invade it basically, despite the obvious danger of making a portal to the legion homeworld on azeroth

If the compilation doesn't include it you should absolutely watch the old soldier cinematic, it takes place immediately before the BFA opening cinematic

Might be worth watching the rejection of the gift cinematic too since it wasnt included, really badass moment for Illidan

Scrolling through this, you seem to have missed a few Legion (Argus) cinematics between when Illidan (edgy horned guy) uses the Sargerite keystone to open a portal and when we defeated Argus and Sargeras stabbed Azeroth. The one called "Rejection of the Gift" is probably my personal favorite in-game cinematic, while it definitely took me back to being an edgy teenager, the voice acting is phenomenal. There are also a few that establishes Illidans background a bit for people who haven't played WC3 or read the book. I have a privated playlist with the order I'd recommend people watching, it has everything (as far as I know) from good to bad to terrible to great, excluding The War Within. Let me know if you're interested and I can share a link, but it might require some backtracking unless you want to skip to where you're at.

If you don't see it in the video you are watching you should definitely watch the "Warbringers: Sylvannas" cinematic to give a 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 context of how the Battle for Azeroth stuff really gets into gear.

"I think I look dead" - then just go as Sylvanas (former High Elf, turned into an undead Banshee). X3
