What do you think are the biggest problems holding PVT back in North America?

That's awesome 👍

27 years in the industry and I have seen this technology attempt many times, every single time it has fell flat on its face. Hopefully they'll get it right someday. But I most definitely would not purchase revision A. 😂

Lots of places in the States where this would work really well.

I’ve been waiting for this for years. Glad to see there are finally options making their way into production !!!!! Can’t wait to seeing them here in the US!

This is cool tech. Replace the roof ridge cap with a single long tube for back up or emergency power and hot water.

I've been looking for an easy way to remove panel heat, but throwing water constantly across a panel not designed for it can be dangerous. This is so much cooler. Thanks!

In mild & colder climates, 40% of energy use is in heating so this an interesting use of evacuated tubes. Evacuated tubes can get very hot internally however, which would lower PV efficiency. I’d be interested to see how it works in the -30C temperatures we see during Canadian winters.

Fascinating. The water could help cool the panels as long as its recirculated and used throughout the day.

Wires that go up and work for decades without maintenance versus those same wires PLUS a pressurized liquid plumbing system that needs maintained -- extra weight and complexity. I'll take the much simpler but less efficient plain PV system powering my heat pump HVAC and hot water heater, thanks.
