  Wow, that having kids talk hit me right in the heart. I was always in the &quot;I&apos;m not sure&quot; camp but assumed my husband and I would eventually have them. Then 35 hit and I found out he had been betraying me all through our 14 yr marriage. A huge blessing in disguise that I never had that man&apos;s kids. Now, at 41, I&apos;m with the true love of my life and can&apos;t help but think about the kids we could&apos;ve created, but it&apos;s too late. I&apos;m slowly becoming at peace with it, but it&apos;s so hard not to romanticize the thought. It really helps to hear other childless women speak on the complex feelings surrounding this. There&apos;s heartache and longing, there&apos;s mourning, but there&apos;s peace. ❤

  Monica talking about &quot;not knowing&quot; regarding having children was so relatable. We&apos;re in the same place, age group, etc. and it was really good to hear someone similar talk about it. Thank you. &lt;3

  Amazing that Jen can sit there crossed legged through the whole interview, at our age. My knees are so shot. She&apos;s just wonderful btw.

  As a woman who lived with fertility issues and deciding what I want . I was married for 27 years, went through artificial insemination a few times and tried Invitro once because we couldn’t afford to try again. None of it worked because my ex also had fertility issues. We had also signed up as foster parents. After the invitro failed I had reached the point where I was comfortable with not having kids. I was 38. Then a few months later we got the call for a foster baby. We got a baby boy only 2 weeks old. We went through a lot during the first two years with being judged constantly by the foster care system. We weren’t able to officially adopt him until he was about 2 1/2. He is my heart. <br><br>I would never judge another person for their choices. Every person has their own path. I have friends who chose not to marry or have children. Everyone is different.

  I can&apos;t stop smiling, Jennifer is so delightful besides being very down to earth and humble, what I really noticed the most is how empathetic she is.
