My lord Jordan makes the game look easy!! He mastered this game. No wasted movements , efficiency off the charts , and just taking what the defense gives him. Beautiful to watch.

Those who didn't see Jordan live don't understand. He is so highly regarded because he didn't let his fans down when it mattered most. Let that sink in.

His basketball instincts were second to none. His instincts knew exactly when to attack the hoop, and when not to attack . These are split second decisions that the brain has to make. He could adjust his shot, or take another step forward or back in a split second and almost always is the right decision. The instincts just boggles my mind. It looks reactionary too. I don't believe his moves are pre-planned and there's not much thinking involved. I think he just reacts to what the defender and the defense is doing and lets his instincts, his god given talent,  and his techniques that he developed take over.

He came into this season weighing 208, instead of the 216lbs he came into the 95-96 season with. He did this to alleviate knee tendinitis.

I am based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. NBA Basketball was not broadcast in NL. It is because of Jordan that a pay-per-view movie channel had to fill their nightslot, get more eyeballs watching. So subscribers got a choice 1.) sort erotica, like playboy channel or something or 2.) USA sports (Hockey, American Football and basketball). As it turns out, most subscribers chose 2, but nobody watched Hockey or American Football, didn't understand the game/rules. So it became NBA Basketball, mostly games by the Chicago Bulls. From 1989 all the way till Jordan's last season w/ the bulls. I was very lucky, I got to see a lot of regular season games and all of the playoffs/finals games. Watching Jordan, even so many yrs later, never gets tired. The NBA should re-digitize, or re-pixelate all those old games and stick them online, so we can see all that stuff in 4K, 1080p fullHD! 😀

MJ was locked in those years. He was fun to watch. I remember that season was a classic year. He debuted the cherry 12's.

His ability to adjust the follow through is a thing of beauty. He recognizes when a taller defender is on him with his outstreched arms and let the ball go at about 90% of his full follow through. That's how he was able to beat Divac in Game 3 of the 91 Finals.
