I signed up for Next Door emails in an old neighborhood. I never unsubscribed so quickly. Now we live in a neighborhood which is quiet and everyone minds their business.

The worst experience I had with groups that I've ever seen are the car groups. You have a mix of individuals who will tell you that your vehicle isn't worth anything while the exact same thing they have in a different color is somehow worth way more. If you ask advice about something wrong with your vehicle thinking you're going to find that experience you will quickly find a bunch of people who deliberately give you bad advice because they think it's funny if they convince you to destroy what you have. Any information you do get will also have just as much conflicting information about it. And all of this is before the scammers show up and start asking stupid questions to get you to interact with their memes.
