  My daughter Lilly was born with a heart condition, but with surgery was supposed to have a fairly normal life, until a nurses lack of care took what chances she had away. She was never supposed to see one after that, we have gotten 6 years so far… to think we could have spent these six years focused on the life taken from her instead of making the very most of the life we have with her… I hope when that day comes, and that light in my life goes out… I hope this song can bring me back… 💔<br><br>When I listened to this part, where ren is speaking from the departed &nbsp;<br><br>“If you get that sinking feeling, thinking about the time we shared, I hope it helps you with your healing, knowing that I wasn’t scared, I savored everything, pressed the world up against my skin, I was lucky I guess, I always found the beauty in the mess,”<br><br>My heart shattered! I desperately needed to hear those words. Through the tears I found healing ❤️‍🩹 I hope others do as well. Never take a day with your loved ones for granted.

  I think it is so amazing that Ren and Webby have built a community of people/reactors where it is ok to share our grief. In a world where we are so divided, we all share loss, and they bring us into a loving space with people we love and trust

  I wish you&apos;d watched the live (you still can) ... it started with a candle intro and gentle piano track that invited you to bring a lost one to mind. &nbsp;It was so sweet, so many people posted names in chat, and this intro (as with all of Rens intros) added SO much to the song.<br><br>The whole event felt like a group memorial service... unifying and healing. &nbsp;It was truly beautiful.

  Thank you! 🙏🏻 For sharing another beautiful reaction with us! There is a short that ren put out the day prior to this that was beautiful and the countdown was definitely something special. Millions of people coming together to collectively mourn and celebrate the lives of those loved ones lost. Millions coming together to heal and support. Such a beautiful thing! ❤❤❤❤

  Your words here at the beginning reminds me of how I felt when I initially found out my son has profound autism and a developmental delay. I grieved the future I thought he would have, we would have. But with time I’ve come to accept that we still have a beautiful future together, it’s just going to look different, and that’s okay. He is the happiest little boy, and so deeply loved ❤
