Fun Fact. Apparently Badgers little MvC tournament unofficially broke the prize record. The original official tournament prize pool was 25k so badger basically doubled the prize pool.

Syd's eyes widening upon hearing that the prize was actually $50,000 was amusing.

Ah yes, the one where Badger had a tournament with more prize money than an actual tournament. Love it

15:10 My favorite part of Gary's bit is when he nearly cracks himself up with the "Do you know who else [wheeze] got cheated on?"

18:30 Shuma-Gorath is one of the eldritch horrors in Marvel.
He is a cosmic horror who has conquered countless universes and is constantly trying to find ways into the main Marvel universe to conquer it too. Usually when he appears it's just an avatar with a minuscule fraction of his power that manifests, and even that requires the undivided attention of the world's heavy hitters.
Needless to say, he's been massively nerfed for the game.

He is part of a species (?) known as the Many-Angled Ones, who have the power to corrupt and convert willing hosts, mutating them over time to become eldritch versions of themselves, and eventually into a new Many-Angled One. Their most prominent appearance was during the "Cancer-Verse" event, where corrupted versions of known characters invaded through a tear in space-time. They came from a universe where the heroes were so distraught over the original Captain Marvel (Mar'vell of the Cree) dying from cancer, that they ended up allowing in the Many-Angled Ones to murder Mistress Death herself. With her gone, nothing in that universe could die, which ended up driving a lot of the inhabitants insane, opening them up for corruption as well - up to and including cosmic-level beings.
They eventually solved it by sending main-universe Thanos into the Cancer-Verse, who is intrinsically connected with Mistress Death - leading to her gaining access to that universe and "cleaning up".
