  Just goes to show that being wealthy does not automatically give you good taste or class. Some of these 'mansions' are just eyesores.

  makes me kind of angry to see these places sitting empty. Meanwhile houses that used to go for 30 to 60k in the 70s, are now 600 thousand dollars. Pure ridiculousness out there.

  This just shows that even the rich have a tendency to live above their means.  The more they have, the more they want.  Even the Bible says they're never satisfied.

  It's so big , the utilities the maintenance , 45 acres I mean the up keep is significant,  how many ppl for its upkeep?Like having a personal entourage all the time, and a security team, just too big.

  Some of these places are absolutely ugly too. Some went with that industrial look and the mansions look like a warehouse or abandoned factory.
