  PROBATION IS A FALSE DOCTRINE. <br>1 – The SdA denomination adopted William Miller’s doctrine of Probation. <br>2 – “The doctrinal theory of probation is a core teaching of the Seventh- Day Adventist eschatology and is almost identical to the Mormon teaching. By way of Ellen G. White, who the SdA Church believes was divinely inspired, the SdAs teach the Probation Doctrine. <br>3 – The period of probation was supposedly extended in 1844 when Jesus transitioned into a second phase of heavenly ministry, what they call the Investigative, or pre-advent, Judgment. Adventist’s teach one must get to a sinlessly perfect state, before the close of probation because man will have to stand in the sight of a holy God without an intercessor. <br>4 -- The word “Probation” is nowhere found in Hebrew Scripture. There are two Hebrew words for “Probation.” But they are not found in any Hebrew Scriptures. The point being, there are no Strong&apos;s numbers for “probation”! <br>5 -- 1 Peter 4:12 &quot;supports&quot; Probation ... Some Scripture versions quoted: <br>a -- Lapid Jewish Aramaic New Testament: &quot;My beloved, be not dismayed at the trials that befall you as if some strange thing had come upon you; FOR THESE THINGS ARE FOR YOUR PROBATION. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of the Mashiakh (Messiah/Anointed One) that so you may also rejoice and exult at the revelation of Shabkheh (His Glory)&quot; This is the ONLY version with &quot;probation&quot; ... However ... the sentence in capital letters is a spurious addition that is NOT in the Aramaic! <br>b -- Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange things happened unto you; But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ&apos;s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. &quot;KJV&quot;. <br>c -- Dear friends, don&apos;t be surprised when the fiery ordeal comes among you to test you as if something unusual were happening to you. Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of the Messiah, so that you may also rejoice with great joy at the revelation of His glory. &quot;Holman Christian Standard Bible&quot;. <br>d -- Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial happening among you for your testing, as if a surprise were occurring to you; but rejoice, that you participate in the sufferings of the Messiah, that so you may also rejoice and exult at the revelation of his glory. &quot;Hebraic Roots Bible&quot;. <br>6 -- At law, Probation is the extent of the time specified for one convicted of a crime, to be released to the custody of a probation officer, or to a reliable friend or family member. The probation period ends pending either a time to appear in court for sentencing, or released after serving the end of the specified probationary period. Probation is NEVER a time for “testing” as promulgated by Christian doctrine. Does Scripture use the word “trial”? Yes, but the “trial” is to endure in times of persecution and hatred, even to face death. A “trial” is when one party is the accuser and the other party is the accused. The accuser presents the evidence for their claim, then the accused responds with their evidence. The case may be either of an alleged crime, or a civil tort as for defamation or similar. <br>7 -- John Augustus, the “Father of Probation,” is recognized as the first true probation officer. ... In 1841, John Augustus attended a police court to bail out a “common drunkard,” the first probationer. The offender was ordered to appear in court three week later for sentencing. He returned to court a sober man, accompanied by Augustus. ... His appearance and demeanor had dramatically changed. ... Augustus was also the first to apply the term “probation” to his method of treating offenders. <br>Summary -- &quot;Probation&quot; is a forensic term applied ONLY to one who has been convicted of a crime! A &quot;Probationer&quot; is released, by court order, to the custody of the &quot;Probation Officer who is an Officer of the Court.&quot; Nowhere in Scripture is there anyone who was convicted of a crime released to the Custody of a Probation Officer! <br>There is one Hebrew word, and two Greek words, for &quot;Probation.&quot; NONE of those three are found in any Scripture, and NONE of those three have Strong&apos;s numbers. <br>THE TIME OF PROBATION IS A FALSE DOCTRINE SO STOP TEACHING THAT LIE!
