  If each state were on their own, the U.S. military would be inherently disbanded and each serviceman would return to their respective state for defense

  Realistically if every state got its independence Oklahoma Arkansas Louisiana and Mississippi would all join Texas without a fight.

  1.6 million &quot;registered&quot; firearms in Texas. Ohhhh that&apos;s cute. <br><br>There&apos;s more than twice that in Ft. Worth alone.

  This is absolutely ridiculous. You can&apos;t include active duty branches in state military strength vs another state.

  If Texas seceded, it is likely that Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma would secede with it in an alliance. Texas would have no need to waste resources invading and conquering our friendly neighbors. That leaves more firepower available for use elsewhere.

  I am stopping at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbrFImDFssY&amp;t=172">2:52</a>. Registered guns. Guns are not required to be registered in Texas. The only registered guns in Texas would be NFA firearms: Machine guns, short barreled rifles, silencers and other similar stuff regulated under the NFA. The number of armed citizens is indeed a factor but you don&apos;t use &quot;registered guns&quot; to measure that.

  In this video they reference the military bases and the number of units in them but, where are the troops from? If there was war, would the troops head back and fight for their home state? Remember, that is what happened in the civil war, the Southern men went back and fought for the confederate. So, this would be more realistic with this being taken into account.

  One correction. &nbsp;Colorado&apos;s mountains, no matter how tall, would not protect the state from an advancing Texas ground force. &nbsp;All of Colorado&apos;s major urban areas are actually on the Great Plains east of the Rockies, which would leave them all vulnerable as Texas would like be invading from the southeast of Colorado.

  Most of those soldiers stationed in California, would go home and fight for their own state
