  Jan 1984 - 13 year old me travelled from London to Mont Blanc near the Swiss border as a passenger in the 3rd row of seats in my uncles CX Estate. Incredible car in its day.  I remember being amazed at how long the thing was sitting in that 3rd row.  Took 6 of us effortlessly up snow covered mountain roads. Frankie goes to Hollywood, Relax playing on the radio. Happy memories! Great video JJ!

  Owned a DS and CX prestige . Wonderful and after 5 mins of driving it all makes sense

  We had a German friend, he took us on the Autobahn, with his CX Pallas.<br>The Car did 220 km/h &nbsp;like a flying carpet...<br>Really impressed me as a kid.<br>Later I had a Girlfriend, and her Parents had a CX Familiale, that had an extra rear bench...they had a big family...<br>These Cars are so unique..<br>Greetings!

  The only car my dad ever lost his mind over, not a car guy. His first was delivered in 1975, the whole street came to have a look. He kept buying them until they stopped making them. I drove the last one he had &amp; never quite mastered the brakes like he did, practically an on &amp; off switch.

  Perhaps the most beautiful saloon ever produced. Sublime saying. Why can’t they replicate this now - with an electric motor.

  This car&apos;s natural habitat is &nbsp;the A7 Autoroute du Soleil &nbsp;heading towards Marseille with Jean Michel Jarre blasting out on the stereo...<br>Wonderful colour and complementary &apos;biscuit&apos; interior. Always loved these cars so many in Paris in the late 70&apos;s.<br>Those tactile controls were meant to be the future instead we ended up with unusable, unreliable touchscreens and EV&apos;S &nbsp;that spontaneously combust.<br>EDIT: Final destination after a stop in Marseille has to be La Grand Motte. A 1970s space age built holiday resort which did for architecture what the CX did for automotive design.

  Oh yes, the CX, what a fantastic car, it captivated me as a kid (I had the fold out brochure once upon a time...) and still does today. The DS is forever graceful, and the CX forever futuristic...

  I grow up with the CX from mid 70&apos;s - early 90&apos;s. Dad just loved them. The last one was a black on black GTI Turbo, my absolute favorite❤
