The only channel where i read the comments. Purely for Michaels replies to the more obnoxious and/or dumb comments.

The lack of Mola Ram and Willie really sucks. To do absolutely nothing for Crystal Skull is sad as well.

Indy deserved the 3.75 SW Vintage Collection 2.0 treatment: photo real, super articulation, soft goods, accessories, vehicles, and cool playsets similar to the flawed but decent 2008 line (and by playsets—not the awful carbon freezing chamber bridges to nowhere treatment, but something more akin to the recent Jabba’s Throne Room) and no Indy Haslab nonsense.

I was baffled when the 6” Indy figures were announced, and due to budget concerns skipped the line much like I skipped SW Black Series (save for a few favorite characters).

Star Wars and Indy are both very toyetic. It’s wild we have yet to receive a complete and comprehensive high quality Indiana Jones Figure Collection.

Great video essay! Retroblasting and Analog Toys say it like it is and that’s why I’m a longtime fan of their content o7

When they revealed this line I thought to myself" if they make Last Crusade Indy and Henry and they show up at ollies I'll pick them up" and what do you know that's exactly what happened.

For what its worth, I collected the entire line and some of the figures we had were pretty decent. But my biggest issue isnt the lack of vehicles. There is a jeep you could get for Indy if you wanted infernal machine. But thats pricey. My biggest issue is the line ended too soon and had so many glaring omissions. Im glad we got Toht but so much else felt like a missed opportunity. No white dress Marion? No willie Scott or Lao Che? No Vogel or Mola Ram? Like most of the villains were freaking absent giving indy few things to fight. No army builders either.

I made my own. I ordered custom heads from Syndicate for Spalko, Vogel and Dietrich. I made a custom Last Crusade Salah with red fez, i also made Henry sr from the end of LC with a bloody shirt. I also made a Nepal Marion using a Helena torso and the pants from a white suit Belloq. Used a pontytail from Leia for her hair.

Hell we had nothing from Crystal Skull.

Fortunately scotts sculpture studio made a number of great stuff. He did a cross of Coronado, gloved hands and Crystal Skull and Dial.

Highly recommend his work.

The adventure series as flawed as it is, is the line that got me into customizing and kit bashing. The real adventure are the customs and people I met along the way. Some really passionate people and I had as much fun looking st and sharing customs with others.

I still secretly hope for a 6" figure "Lost wave Boxed Set" of villains, or even a Kickstarter with a retro flying wing and playset or something amazing like that.

Had they made these figures in 3.75" to continue my 2008-2009 collection, I would've been all in. A bunch of new characters we missed out on.

Imagine how dense you’d have to be to think “Nobody wants Willie Scott but we GOTTA make Helena Shaw”🙄

Hasbro really did crap all over Crystal skull, which could’ve given us a translucent alien skull. But they would never do something that sensible.

Lacking the testicular fortitude to make any of the villains doomed this line.

The way Hasbro handeled Indiana Jones toys in 2023 honestly looked and felt like Hasbro found out about the new movie at the very last minute. I'd lie and say that "the lines looked promising" but the Hasbro live streams pretty much predicted every problem these toys would face.

0:56 😅😅 I hope Michael keeps in mind the things people (may?) hate him for are the exact reason why people watch and enjoy his channel. It's threading that needle.😂🤙
