  Jackel makes a great bladed jig with a weed guard that comes through some pretty thick cover

  Thanks Tyler. We appreciate the info and the underwater footage. If I’m fishing grass, specially thick grass I like a 4.5 or a 5.5 Hog Farmer Spunk Shad on my Chatterbait. It has incredible action. When you get a little hung up and rip it free from the grass, it triggers the bass to bite. Check it out.

  As much as I usually match chatterbait and trailer, some of my best bass I&apos;ve ever caught have been on a black/blue EVO with a white/chartreuse trailer.

  Used to marshal for BM and at the last Classic in Knoxville was with a pro for the practice day. He had a limit in an hour on a bladed jig. I asked him if it was a Jack Hammer and his response was if you want to be competitive that is what to throw and he wasn’t sponsored by them. Several weeks later I was marshaling on KY lake with a different pro throwing a bladed jig. I asked him the same question as he was leading after the first day and the camera boat was going to shoot us later in the morning. He had a limit after the first 1.5 hours and his answer was he preferred the standard Chatter Bait……seemed to catch more consistently. Went to Guntersville the next week and caught 20 to two fishing the Jack verses the guy in the back of the boat throwing the same color and trailer but a standard Chatterbait……go figure.

  Thanks for the Video, Tyler. I love the ARK Wes Logan All-Chatter rod for chatterbait fishing. It is a fantastic rod. I fish a z-man mini max more than any other kind. It just catches Bass so well.
