  I can imagine Shaun being quite horrified to learn that the moment his Father, who he was trying to save and reunite with by disengaging his cryo chamber in the vault, immediately mutated into a horrifying monster upon coming into contact with the Commonwealth's severe radiation.

  What makes this better is when you remember that Fallout 2 had a super intelligent rad scorpion that beats everyone at chess. So this run could be considered canon

  In fallout 2, a radscorpion is trained into being able to lock pick and play a weird format of chess, so I think the mounted minigun is fine
