Exploring abandoned places is my hobby and finance it all out of my own pocket and the donations I get from the people who love watching the documentaries we make... A small donation would be greatly appreciated! ► https://www.patreon.com/brosofdecay

I'm surprised that none of the children want to go to the house & get keepsakes from their Mom, even if it's a picture

Mr. Martin, although married young , he and his wife were very successful farmers. A beautiful home. It appears the loss of his wife caused chronic depression which was not treated. Everyone deals with the pain of loss in different ways.

Very heartbreaking 💔😭 back in the day men didn’t really do housework or take care of their children …that was what women did while the husbands went to work to make money to support their family so he was probably was so overwhelmed and devastated after his wife passed away leaving him unable to care for so many children. May he RIP🪦 🙏with his wife ❤️

So much of that antique furniture would be worth a lot if money in the USA. The stove/oven too. All it needs is some tlc.

Such a sad story, the last days and years of this lonely man. The hay bale making machine is called a baler in English, I believe. I hope Mr. Martin has found peace. The most poignant thing to me is all the photos he left lying around. He must have spent time looking at them, remembering happy times with his family.

I think the beds on the attic were for the boys. The rooms downstairs, with heating and all, for the girls of course.
Nice video and, as always, with a very respectful approach towards the diseased owner.

This house was pretty nice and not vandalized. The girl in the white dress was her first communion. Very interesting place and they must have had some cows with the milking machine and hay. Thank you Leslie

It must have been so hard watching their father grieve so much over the loss of their mother. I hope they are together once more and found happiness at rest. Such a beautiful home. I can't believe that none of their children would not want to keep the place. It must hold nothing but bad memories for them. Thank you for another fascinating tour into the lives of the people who once made that home. 👍✌️

I want to say this- Your Videos are great and I really appreciate that you don't use "Clickbait" misleading sensational titles and BS to gain viewers. Your work is great and stands on it's own. Thanks for being true Videographers and making Documentaries we all enjoy, with real back ground info when available. Happy New Year and hope you have many great Explores!
