System a lot of them end up not being very good on other teams. Basically looking for high basketball IQ first willing to train the rest.

This has NOTHING to do with the "Boston Celtics". This is 100% BRAD STEVENS, including Stevens, while the Celtic's head coach, living in the ECF while dealing with Danny's trash rosters, Stevens' individual player draft selections as GM, and Stevens' cumulative congruent player-prototype draft selections as GM to provide his coaches with a specific system and players perfectly matched for that system.

Stevens' has a knack for getting the best out of most of his peeps most of the time, understands business, and understands the NBA roster building system to the level of "guru".

Sans the availability of Bill Russell and Larry Bird, Stevens has done more positive with the Celts during his tenure than the Celtic's organization has otherwise accomplished in the existence of the franchise.
