I know, Madonna, youll likely never read this, but i imagine the energy will reach you: Thank you for this incredible album ive listened to this as a kid and have been listening to it as adult the past few years all over again. It feels like your songs are for every occasion, be i happy, be i sad, be i feel lost, be i feel like dancing - whatever - it can always be time for your music. Your music stood the test of time and helped me appreciate life more. Thanks a lot Madonna

I am in my 49th spring—almost my 50th—with my dignity intact. When I was eight, I used to get an allowance from my parents, and I went to a vinyl record shop; right out front, there was a poster of a woman dressed as a bride. I walked in and asked the clerk if I could hear a bit of the record by "that woman" in the photo outside. He asked me, "Madonna?"
I said, "Madonna—yes, exactly."
He brought me the record, and that was it.
I discovered it was the very same woman I used to watch on the Sessão da Tarde afternoon movie broadcasts.
I didn't even listen to the second track; I told the clerk that was the one. He asked if I was sure. I said yes, in a huge rush to get home.
From this moment on, everyone here knows exactly what happened, what is still happening, and what will continue to happen...
Big hugs to everyone.

M A D O N N A

THANKS A LOT

THE SALVATION
Q U E E N

GREETINGS FROM BRAZIL
X

This album to me was her returning to her roots, it stays in constant rotation in my house. Never has an ENTIRE ALBUM album captured the mixed emotions of an NYC Club kid like this. I never had an album make me dance and cry at the same time. I wasn't Suprised to hear Confession 2 was coming, and I love it equally.
