  There’s a lot of new viewers on this video and a lot of common questions, so here’s some answers to the most common ones. <br>1. Cost/pay - &nbsp;I can’t give out our pricing, but this job was billed to insurance at over $10k, and I get a percentage of that as the captain doing the salvage <br>2. Why don’t I have a headlight – I do and a spotlight…but if you paid attention at the beginning of the video, they had lights in the bilge that they turned on, and I assumed they kept working, so at the end I just didn’t go get a light because it wasn’t necessary since we had cell phones. <br>3. Tipping – not always expected unless I go above and beyond my normal job duties. Never expected on salvage though, since I’m already getting paid very well for the job at hand. <br>4.   If I&apos;m in a boat that&apos;s taking on water, I don&apos;t care if a toothless hobo in a flamingo floatie and water wingies shows up wearing a Beer Hat for a syphon or a professional rescue captain<br><br>.. they gonna be my best friend for getting my sorry rump out of trouble.

  Sea Tow captain here. Never had to deal with a customer as nasty as that, close, but never that bad. Usually when people are in distress, they’re happy to see us. Good job captain.

  Marine Max did NOT want to deal with him. Either they have history or they’d already talked him that day and had had enough. He’s one of those guys that thinks he knows more than everyone until he finds out he doesn’t. <br>Great job!
