  SPOILERS AHEAD!<br><br><br>...<br><br><br>...<br><br><br>...I would probably feel worse about their position at the end of the game if it wasn&apos;t completely <b>their idea</b> to feed Jack road. Jack didn&apos;t even pitch the idea. I feel like people sometimes forget, in their race to balance the game, that at all points this is still a competitive game...not cooperative at all. The social aspect is only there to put yourself in a better position. The trading to give Jack road should only be done to give themselves more time to compete...but they have to weigh that against giving Jack a chance to compete as well. He straight up told them he had a mono well before he used it, they have to factor that in as well. <br><br>Ultimately I don&apos;t think anything Jack did was scummy or below board, truthfully. There was a lot going on in the middle of the game but I also think that it was necessary to keep the game alive while Axtin was a knight and a road away from the win. And I think that in all of that deal making and board balancing, it truly felt like they lost sight of their path to victory. Jack took advantage of that lapse in focus and sped ahead, taking the moves he needed to, and I think what he did was absolutely fair. GG.

  playing this game without voice comms makes me momentarily forget its reputation of being one of the saltiest table top games to ever do it

  The salt was insane. And the audacity from Axtin to shame you while he tried to guilt you into giving your hand away to Papa was hard to watch.

  Axtin was post game shaming you even though his comms contributed to the time out on Papa’s turn. Papa’s perspective of “I shouldn’t be so implicitly trusting” is so valid, but Axtin was soooooo salty. <br><br>When I saw Papa show hand with all that wheat I already knew it was coming straight to jack next turn if he couldn’t work out city. Always have to play for your own outs to win, even if it risks getting blown back by one player sun running.

  One of the most deserving wins I have ever seen in Catan.<br>This is really some next level stuff.<br>At no point were you given something out of good will. They did it to extend the game (which would have been over if not).<br>Nothing but big respect.<br>Keep up the best Catan content out there.

  I think Papa has to know who he is playing against. Jack does this in high stakes games more often than not. But Papa leaving the road/yop deal open ended and timing out premono is more on him than Jack. Of course Jack is going to take advantage of those mistakes because he can. If Papa makes a clear and concise future deal with Jack than it becomes harder for Jack to nonbind

  This ruled man, gg. What a fun game to watch. Great job navigating the board and egos. Really hated the after game chat from how salty it was. Axtin played super hard and aggressive to start and was just so bitter that you pulled it out. Hilarious moves from him to try and get you to give away your hand because he was so upset on the other guys behalf lmao
